Posting videos on the free sharing sites can get great publicity and plenty of eyeballs. But most network marketers fail spectacularly and get virtually no views. Here’s 5 reasons why…

1. Fail The 5 Second Test. You have about 5 seconds to keep the attention of your viewer. First impressions count. Make sure you haven’t brushed your hair, cleaned your teeth and have gravy stains down your shirt and they will leave before 5 seconds are up.

2. Send A Mixed Message. Tell your potential recruits they are going to get rich with you and then film your video in your kitchen with dishes in the sink, the door hanging off its hinges and smashed glass in your window pane. If you want the viewer to respect you at least appear professional.

3. Scare the viewer away. Go take a look at most MLM videos. The film maker is on screen screaming that they have the best opportunity and you must work with them. They scare the poor viewer to death and blow the speakers on the pc. Would you want to be shouted at by your upline?

4. Fill the video with negatives. The idea of the video is to inform, arouse curiosity and elicit a response. How many videos have you seen where all the film maker does is try to discredit every other opportunity and every other MLMer? Would you want to work with such a negative guy or gal?

5. Pitch, pitch, pitch. People browse the internet looking for information or entertainment and hate to be sold to. If you spend 5 minutes ramming your opportunity down their throat you will end up as successful as a Christmas tree salesman in July! Offer valuable information only and let the viewer come looking for more.
